For the past twenty five years, Sandra Soich has traveled the globe on
exotic photo shoots from Italy to Morocco to South Africa, and
established a name for herself in the world of fashion production. From
working with elite celebrities such as Greg Norman, Serena and Venus
Williams to Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford, she has worked with
the crème de la crème.
Born and raised in Chicago, Sandra attended Loyola University, where she
majored in Journalism & TV Production. After working for many years on
multi-media projects, many of them involving fashion, Sandra was
approached by a well known photographer to become his stylist. After
leaving this position, she was booked on a job in Paris and eventually
worked in the major fashion cities of Europe.
Sandra was greatly impacted by her travels and further inspired to
pursue her love of fashion styling. In 1983, she relocated to New York
City. Soich’s career quickly skyrocketed as she took a position with
Lord & Taylor as head stylist and casting director for their catalogs.
In 1988, Soich began freelancing and served as the Fashion Show Director
for mega beauty brand, Revlon, and provided freelance fashion stylist
and producer services for elite companies such as Bergdorf Goodman,
Bloomingdale’s and Spiegel.
In 1991, Sandra uprooted to Miami, where an emerging fashion and
production scene was soaring to new levels. With a profound respect for
her reputation and professionalism, Sandra was hired by Sports
Illustrated, Ralph Lauren, Visa and advertising agencies such as Saatchi
& Saatchi and J. Walter Thompson to oversee styling needs for print
advertising jobs. Soon, she began catalog work with Macy’s, Hanes and
Neiman Marcus followed by styling services for TV commercials for Goya,
Motorola and The Miami Herald.
Shortly after her arrival, Soich was recruited by WSVN/FOX Channel 7 to
serve as a Fashion Consultant for their on-air anchors including Belkys
Nerey and Craig Stephens, as well as Deco Drive’s Jessica Aguirre and
Kelly Mitchell. She was then commissioned to work with newly hired
anchors and reporters to develop a cohesive fashion sense for the
station.
Most recently she has continued juggling her itinerary with Steinmart,
British GQ and European cosmetic line, Arbonne, while taking personal
appointments with clientele seeking wardrobe consulting.
Sandra models both her daily personal and professional life around her
favorite quote by writer, Nancy Thayer, “It is never too late—in fiction
or in life—to revise.” In her very limited free time, Sandra enjoys
exercising, watching films and spending time with her closest friends.
